Found this site by accident. I may check it out now and then. I'm in mid 60s, never married, no family, no longer have access to Mass or Sacraments, with loss of Mass went loss of friends. Working long hours to survive paycheck to paycheck, in survival mode in every way including spiritual. Only goal is to die in state of grace, if God allows, sooner rather than later to lessen chance of falling into mortal sin.
I'm Catholic but live more like a Protestant in that practically, it's just me and Our Lord.
Would appreciate prayers for improved health as loss of ability to work will mean loss of place to live. But God's Will be done. He may desire I die homeless, if so, then pray for holy death.

Welcome aboard 'Abandoned'. First off - change you name to 'Faithful'. Your whole post speaks of someone with great faith. Beset by trials you pray to die in a state of grace; fear of commiting serious sin and desire only to do His will! Catholic to a 'T'. Our Lord asked His Father, "Why hast Thou abandoned me?". He knows exactly how you, and many of us feel. Say your Rosary even if you do not feel like it.

No need to take my word for it either. Stay with us and hear the wonderful sermons of Father Pfeiffer and Father Hewko - you will be very surprised to find out how close to God you are - and how dearly loved by him you are.

Welcome Abandoned, No longer are you abandoned. Check everything you can on this site. You will come to understand more that God has you where you are for a reason. I am starting to see and be at peace with the facts that going without a mass is better then the NO or fake resistances SSPX masses. You will loose your faith in those modernist churches. So glad I did not get caught up again in those places like I had been for 14 years and searching to join seminaries that would have only damned my soul to hell or wasted time in finding the true Faith. I will pray for you. Please pray for me. Your search is over and now the journey can begin. Welcome to the footstool of the Lord.
